From the moment she began dancing at just three years old in Springfield, Massachusetts, Cammie Griffin-Tokunbo knew the performing arts would shape her life. After training in multiple dance styles at Kim's Danceland, Broadway Dance Center in New York, and earning both dance and vocal scholarships while pursuing a degree in Chemistry, she made the bold decision to follow her passion professionally.
That journey led her to an international career spanning more than 15 years as a performer, choreographer, and educator. As a cast member of STOMP and STOMP Out Loud, Cammie toured extensively around the world while performing and collaborating with renowned artists, productions, and organizations including Cirque du Soleil, Gwen Stefani, MC Hammer, NBA All-Star halftime shows, Miami Heat halftime shows, America's Got Talent, and many others. Most recently, she appeared in a principal role in the Amazon Prime film Música.
While her professional accomplishments have taken her around the world, Cammie's greatest passion has always been inspiring the next generation. She believes dance is about far more than technique—it's about building confidence, discipline, creativity, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of community.
As the founder and Artistic Director of Rhythm Nation Dance & Fitness Studio, Cammie is committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment where every student feels seen, challenged, and encouraged to grow. Whether a child dreams of performing professionally or simply wants to build confidence and lifelong friendships, every dancer is given the opportunity to discover their unique potential through movement and the performing arts.
Her mission is to use dance as a vehicle to inspire creativity, develop character, and empower students with skills that extend far beyond the stage.
Monika De Yampert

With over 30 years of experience in dance education and choreography, Monika DeYampert has dedicated her career to inspiring, mentoring, and developing dancers of all ages through the power of the arts. Her passion for dance extends far beyond performance — it is rooted in building confidence, discipline, creativity, self-esteem, and life skills that empower students to succeed both on and off the stage.
Throughout her career, Monika has choreographed and directed numerous dance productions, musicals, field shows, halftime performances, recitals, competitions, and performing arts programs for elementary, junior high, and high school students. She has worked extensively with dance teams, color guards, school arts programs, after-school performing arts initiatives, summer camps, and community-based arts education programs.
Monika finds her greatest joy in serving communities where dance and the arts are not always easily accessible. Under her leadership and direction, many of her students have gone on to successful careers in the entertainment and arts industries. Her alumni include choreographers, teachers, college coaches, artistic directors, graduates of Alvin Ailey, UCLA, UNLV, NYU, Juilliard, ong with many more Universities and Colleges around the world, as well as community leaders and parents raising strong families rooted in creativity and excellence.
Her mission as an educator is to create artistic programs that not only develop talented dancers but also promote educational achievement, personal growth, leadership, and community involvement. She believes the arts can bridge gaps, inspire change, and create opportunities for future generations.
Through every class, production, and performance, Monika DeYampert continues to inspire the next generation by using dance, education, and wellness to uplift communities and transform lives.
Malik Chunn
Ballet & Barre Technique Instructor
Malik Chunn discovered his love for dance at the age of two while taking ballet classes with his grandmother in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then, he has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, tap, West African, Haitian, Bollywood, and tango through the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, Afriky Lolo West African Dance Company, Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, and AMDA College and Conservatory in Los Angeles.
After earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre from AMDA, Malik returned to Las Vegas, where he joined the internationally recognized body percussion company Molodi. His professional performance credits include Nevada Ballet Theatre's production of Swan Lake, Molodi's original production Paati, Carnival: Choreographer's Ball Las Vegas, and he currently performs as a swing in MJ: The Evolution at the Mosaic Theatre on the Las Vegas Strip.
At Rhythm Nation Dance & Fitness Studio, Malik teaches Ballet and Barre Technique, where he is passionate about building strong technical foundations while helping dancers develop confidence, discipline, artistry, musicality, and body awareness. He believes proper technique is the foundation for success in every style of dance and is dedicated to inspiring students to reach their fullest potential in a positive and encouraging environment.
